Mira Nameth lives and works in Stockholm. Before this, she lived a few years in London and many years in New York. Her clients include Crabtree&Evelyn, Vogue, American Express, Absolut Vodka, Donna Karan and DKNY, Baume et Mercier, Coca-Cola, Juicy Couture, Coco de Mer, Brizo, Liz Earle, Clinique, IKEA, Dior, Martin&Osa, Warchild, Harrod’s, River Island, commons&sense, Random House, Virago, Odalisque Magazine, and many other publishers and fashion magazines.
In her illustrations, she mixes contrasts with softer shapes, figurative imagery with abstract organic forms. She talks about this in a Taxi interview: 'I like both light, minimal, yet visually interesting drawings, as well as more dense scenes. Sometimes it’s about taking a simpler element out of a more complex scene, and looking at what is interesting with that particular element. She has exhibited in the US, UK and Sweden, and been awarded by American Illustration 31 and PRINT Magazine's 'Hand drawn 2012'. Liz Earl Botanical Essence No.15 received the Red Dot Award 2013. Mira was an Adobe Mentor in 2013/14.
